Who Is Gale LaScala?
Gale has been a practicing Herbalist since 1992. She lives in the mountains of Western Massachusetts with her husband and 5 cats. A mother of two, her children often use the herbal medicine they grew up with.
After attending a Women’s Herbal Conference many years ago, she decided to formally train at Sage Mountain and has completed the Apprenticeship Program, the Teacher Training and the Advanced Herbal Program and later went on to be a teacher at the New England Women’s Herbal Conference. Teaching, lecturing and hosting garden tours are ways to help spread the Green Word and help people to make their own medicine from the natural world around them. Certified in Aromatherapy and a Level II Reiki practitioner, Gale likes to incorporate these modalities into her Community Herbalism. It is an honor to be a part of the Sage Mountain family.
