Who Is Lora Krall?
Lora lives with her husband along the beautiful banks of the Mississippi River in the Driftless region of Minnesota. She has a bachelor’s degree in nursing and English Literature and Language. After a long career as a registered nurse in critical care, emergency, flight nursing and seeing her two sons off to gain their PhD’s; Lora is following her deepest passion for plants, education, environment and story. With a lofty goal of bridging the gap in healthcare, Lora hopes to be a voice for the plants educating and empowering people in their own health. She has studied a variety of healing modalities including; aromatherapy, acupressure, reflexology, medical intuition with Caroline Myss, Healing Touch, and is a certified Reiki master. She is a graduate of the Art and Science of Herbalism, the Ecstasy of Teaching and did an apprenticeship for 5 years with Minnesota regional herbalist, Carol Jacobs, in Minnesota. She is a member of United Plant Savers, Herbalists Without Borders and recently started an herbal education group in her community. When not outside in a garden or hiking the bluffs, you can usually find her whipping up a fabulous meal made from wild plants, reading 2 or 3 books at once or writing like a madwomen on her first book .
