Who Is Michelle Wallace?
Michelle is a herbalist, gardener and artist. Originally from California, she has been living in Central Vermont for about 20 years. It was here in Vermont, among the forest, fields and gardens surrounding her home where, over many years, Michelle has found a place to deepen her connection and love of the plants. She is a graduate of Rosemary’s Apprentice Program, the Science and Art of Herbalism and the Sage Mountain Advanced Herbalist Training Program. It was at Sage Mountain and studying with Rosemary Gladstar that Michelle discovered the heart opening and healing relationship that is possible with the plants. Michelle has also worked for a variety of non-profit organizations in Vermont committed to community health. She continues to be deeply involved in non-profit work related to food systems, nutrition education and food security. Most recently, Michelle discovered a way to combine her love of gardening, plants, mandala designs and photography. She created an art business she calls Nature Mandala Art :: Vermont. You can now find her art online and at herbal apothecaries and other stores across the country.
