A Walk in the Garden with Herbalist Rosemary Gladstar

Nowhere is beauty so pronounced as in the gardens, wild or cultivated, of Mother Earth.

A garden can be many things to you; a place to plant and nourish your “teachers,” a place of beauty and calmness. A garden can provide food and medicine for your household and a supply of year-round fresh herbs.

The herb garden is a wonderful healing center; it is a way of creating beauty and peace on Earth. Just walking through the garden imbues one with peace. The power and nourishment of the Mother is felt nowhere else as strongly as in the presence of plants thriving from her living soil.

Join herbalist Rosemary Gladstar on a (virtual) walk through the gardens of Sage Mountain Botanical Sanctuary.

Founded by Rosemary and family over 35 years ago, Sage Mountain Botanical Sanctuary is one of New England’s foremost conservation education centers. Located on 600 acres within nearly 80,000 acres of contiguous wilderness in central Vermont, this land is a sanctuary for plants, animals, and people.
