She Who Remembers title

Many women sense when something in their body begins to change.

It may be a shift in your cycle, your sleep, or your energy. It may be the feeling of carrying too much for too long. Or it may be a quieter awareness that you are moving into a new stage of life without a clear map.

These transitions are a natural part of being human, yet they are rarely explained in a way that feels useful or supportive.

This program offers a way to understand those changes more clearly, to work with your body rather than against it, and to build a steady foundation of support using herbs and everyday practices.

This is an invitation to remember what your body already knows.

A conversation between generations

This series brings together two perspectives in a way that feels both timely and deeply relevant.

Rosemary Gladstar shares her decades of experience as an herbalist, teacher, and elder, offering stories, insights, and guidance shaped by a lifetime of working with the plants and supporting women’s health.

Widely regarded as a pioneer of the modern herbal movement, Rosemary has spent over 50 years teaching, writing, and helping to bring herbal wisdom back into everyday life. Her work has touched generations of students and practitioners, and her approach remains rooted in simplicity, accessibility, and a deep respect for the plants as allies and teachers. Her book Herbal Healing for Women has been a trusted companion for thousands of women for over 30 years.

Jess Bergeron brings the perspective of a younger woman who is actively living these teachings. As an ethnobotanist, herbal mentor, and mother, she works closely with the plants in her daily life while caring for her family and community. With a background in Ethnobotany from the University of Hawai‘i, her work has focused on the relationship between people and plants, as well as traditional healing practices from diverse lineages.

As the founder of JKB Kitchen and the Kitchen Medicine Mentorship, Jess has guided thousands of women and mothers in bringing herbalism into their homes, helping them move from simply following recipes to becoming confident and intuitive in their care. Her approach is grounded, practical, and rooted in the belief that herbal knowledge belongs in everyday life, where it can be lived, shared, and passed on.

Together, their exchange reflects a natural and often unspoken dynamic. Jess asks questions that many women are already holding, and Rosemary responds with clarity, warmth, and lived wisdom. The result is a learning experience that feels both grounded and personal.

Who this is for

This program is designed for women—and those supporting women—who are seeking a deeper understanding of their bodies and the changes they are experiencing.

Many participants are in the full and often demanding years of life, balancing work, caregiving, and personal well-being. Others may be at the beginning of their journey, looking to better understand their cycles, or moving into perimenopause or menopause and wanting support that feels steady and respectful.

While many will join for support in their current season, this series offers a broader view. It helps you understand the full arc of a woman’s life and can also serve as a meaningful resource for those who want to support younger women with greater confidence and care.
